According to recent studies, more than 30 % of intercity traffic is caused by drivers looking for a parking space with the consequent loss of time and energy.


Our proposed solution can reduce time needed to find
an empty parking space to about 5 minutes or less.


The system consists in the installation of vehicle sensors on each parking space; sensors are easy to install, long lasting and have a vandal-proof design. These sensors communicate wirelessly the situation of a space by emitting a signal to a terminal, strategically placed, to inform drivers of the existence of available parking and guide them towards available spaces through a smartphone app or dynamic panels strategically placed in city streets.

The most attractive feature of the solution is that it requires no wiring
or repeaters and gives real-time Occupied/Non-occupied situation
of every parking space in the streets of the city.


These sensors also become a source of valuable data that can convert into statistics. These statistics give important information such as rotation of cars per parking spot, where there is more or less movement of vehicles and during what times of the day, week or year helping improve urban planning.

Combined with a system of smart parking meters, like the ones proposed by Smart Living Projects, the profitability of the system increases.


Its advantages

  • Optimizes the use of parking spaces as it increases the rotation of cars in each spot.
  • Optimizes management and reduces the need for parking meter attendants since it eliminates the need for rounds or visual inspections to find violators. When an space occupied by a car has exceeded its prepaid time or has not paid, the city officials will receive an alarm indicating where to go to emit a parking fine.
  • The city will have useful data that allows them to adjust rates by time of day or days of week, optimizing profitability and parking rotation according to its needs and interests.
